Early Eyes have had a big year. They released EPs "Decorating" and "All Shades of Teal"; they've sold out their Nov. 2 show at the 7th St Entry; and they performed their first in-studio session at The Current, hosted by Sean McPherson.

Hamilton, Ont., band the Dirty Nil simply love to rock. 'We just love rock and roll of all kinds -- thrash metal, folk, it doesn't matter,' says guitarist Luke Bentham. 'For me, at least, I find myself subconsciously stealing little tricks from all of them.' The Dirty Nil recently visited The Current's studio for a session hosted by Mac Wilson to talk about touring in North America and to play songs from their album, 'Master Volume.'

Los Angeles-based artist Joey Dosik, is well known for his work collaborating with other groups like Vulfpeck, but now Dosik is also becoming popular for his work as a solo artist. Both his debut full-length album, Inside Voice, and EP, Game Winner, were released earlier in the year.

Maggie Rogers' music career has advanced very quickly, a fact that's not lost on the singer-songwriter. Her forthcoming album, 'Heard It In A Past Life,' is a reflection of that. ' I just think I've been trying to do this for a very long time, and this is the lifetime it all sort of works out,' Rogers says. Before her sold-out show at First Avenue, Maggie Rogers stopped at The Current for a session hosted by Mary Lucia.
