Formed in Virginia in 2015, Illiterate Light recently released a self-titled album on Atlantic Records. 'We didn't necessarily set out to form Illiterate Light as the next power duo,' says the band's Jeff Gorman, although he and bandmate Jake Cochran seem to be well on their way to doing just that. For her latest album, 'Freeway,' Pieta Brown knew which musicians she wanted to work with and where she wanted to record. Gathering a number of accomplished players from Wisconsin and Minnesota, Brown recorded her new album at April Base in Wisconsin.
