Austin, Texas, band Briscoe formed around the nucleus of friends Philip Lupton and Truett Heintzelman, and they released their debut album in September. The day after their headlining show at the 7th Street Entry in Minneapolis, Briscoe visited The Current for a session hosted by Mac Wilson.
