Sid Sriram has made a point to embrace serendipity — it has led to many positive moments in his career, including his latest album, ‘Sidharth,’ which has roots in Minneapolis. Sriram visited The Current to play songs from the album and to chat with host Ayisha Jaffer.

Toronto band The Beaches were in town for a show at the Fine Line in Minneapolis when they visited The Current studio to perform a three-song acoustic set of music from their new album, Blame My Ex.

The song appears on the band’s 2023 album, ‘If We Stayed Alive.’

On her latest album, “Polaroid Lovers,” Sarah Jarosz broke new ground in terms of her sound and her collaborations. On tour in support of the album, Jarosz visited The Current for a session hosted by Radio Heartland’s Mike Pengra.
