Koskinen’s latest album was developed over the past four years and involved the input of many collaborators.

The Kills — the rock duo comprising Jamie Hince and Alison Mosshart — released their sixth studio album, God Games, in October 2023. Mosshart and Hince visited The Current to play songs from the record and to chat with host Jill Riley.

Toronto band The Beaches were in town for a show at the Fine Line in Minneapolis when they visited The Current studio to perform a three-song acoustic set of music from their new album, Blame My Ex.

Nashville-based singer-songwriter Jaime Wyatt visited The Current to play songs from her third full-length album, Feel Good.

On a beautiful summer day at the Minnesota State Fair, the band Kiss The Tiger delivered a rollicking set from the stage in Dan Patch Park.

Wisconsin-originated and classically trained musician Joyann Parker came to the blues, jazz and gospel music later in life, but she celebrates it with gusto on her new album, “Roots.” Parker and her band visited The Current studio for a session hosted by Radio Heartland’s Mike Pengra.
