On this week's show, Dave is be joined by Pete Rhodes -- cofounder of the Minnesota Black Music Awards and the producer of this year's program which is taking place Friday, July 16 at The Pantages Theater. Pete and Dave spin music from some of the performers at this year's show and talk about the 30th anniversary of the Minneapolis sound.

In hour two, Private Dancer dropped by The Current studios and performed a few tracks from their forthcoming record Alive in High Five.
