The Local Show for September 12, 2010
September 12, 2010
On this episode of The Local Show David Campbell was joined in the studio by Kevin Beacham, the host of Redefinition Radio and a key player at Rhymesayers Entertainment. Kevin and David discussed the origins of Kevin's scholarly approach to world of hip hop and hear music from a few of his favorite locals.
In hour two, listeners are introduced to New Century Masters. The band stopped by The Current studios to perform a few songs from their debut album... which, strangely enough, is entitled, "Vol. III: Rarities & Odd Dities."
All of that plus music from The Jayhawks, Roma di Luna, Ellis, Doomtree and Mystery Palace, plus a new track from the forthcoming Lucy Michelle and the Velvet Lapelles album.
