The Local Show for September 26, 2010
September 26, 2010
On this week's episode of The Local Show host David Campbell was joined in the studio by photographer Stacy Schwartz who also happens to run the blog Cake in 15. We heard some of Stacy's favorite local jams and talked to her about how she got her start doing what she loves. In hour two, Dave was joined in the studio by Lazerbeak - one of the key beat constructors in the Doomtree family. Beak has a new record out entitled Legend Recognize Legend. He stopped by the studio and performed a few songs along with his band, The Ensemble of Legends. If that isn't enough excitement for you, we played music from Communist Daughter, The Hang Ups, Muja Messiah, as well as new tracks from Roma di Luna, Dark Dark Dark, Red Pens and Lookbook.
