The Local Show for October 17, 2010
October 17, 2010
On this weeks edition of The Local Show Host David Campbell spent some time talking to the Marathon Man. We are talking about the one and only rock n' roll athlete Mark Mallman who recently performed for 78 hours straight. Mark shares the scoop on exactly how he did it and along with a glimpse into the wonderful world of hallucination from sleep deprivation. Plus Mark spun all three themes from Marathon 3, live stuff from previous marathons, and debut new tracks from his two side projects Waxx Maxx and Ruby Isle - the later which recently remade GnR's Appetite for Destruction.
In the second hour of this weeks show, STNNNG stopped by The Current studios. They have a new album out entitled "The Smoke of My Will." The band chatted about making the album and performed a few songs from it.
All of that plus music from Sims, Muja Messiah, Private Dancer, Dada Trash Collage and new music from Grant Cutler, and rockin' Steve Bakken.
