On this week's edition of The Local Show host David Campbell spent some time talking to Nate Kranz and Sonia Grover, the general manager and booking manger of First Ave. Nate and Sonia spun some of their favorite local artists including a few that will be playing the First Ave. 40th Anniversary party next Wednesday evening.

In the second hour of this week's program, Martin Devaney and his band performed live in The Current studios. They performed a few new songs and talked about Martin's latest album The West End.

On top that, music from Husker Du, Soul Asylum, M.anifest, Dosh and a new song from the band Take Acre.
