On The Local Show this week we met Richard Barlow and Erik Wivinus -curators of Heliotrope Eight - an annual exhibition of contemporary underground music taking place Thursday, May 26th - Saturday, May 28th @ The Loring Theater. David, Richard, and Erik talked about the history of the event and previewed music from some of this year's performers.
In hour two, Little Man stopped by the Current studios and performed a few songs from his forthcoming EP Orbital Amusement.
Plus music from the Magnolias, Mark Mallman, The Soviettes and new music from Prof, St. Paul Slim, Al Church and State, I, Colossus and Face Candy.
