We've been pondering doing this for a while. What if we took The Local Show on the road across the border to the Chippewa Valley? So many great Minnesota musicians were born and bred there, and we figured that the area is filled with so much more we still don't know about.


So we brought in Justin Vernon -- aka Bon Iver -- to give us the scoop. He takes over the show for the first hour and spins some of his favorite Eau Claire acts and chats with David Campbell about life after the Grammy, upcoming projects and the best parts of Eau Claire as a music community.


The Daredevil Christopher Wright drops by during the second hour for an in-studio performance. They have a new album out called The Nature Of Things.


And we've loaded up the show with tons of submissions from Chippewa Valley bands. Thanks to everyone who took part in this and submitted tunes over.
