The Local Show with Sombear and Fury Things
August 04, 2013
On this weekend's episode, we'll have two in-studios again. Both are with rising local acts getting a lot of attention since the beginning of the year. In the 6PM hour, David Campbell will talk with Sombear, the new solo project from Now, Now's Bradley Hale. Chris Walla from Death Cab For Cutie will assist him during the performance. In the 7PM hour, Fury Things will bring their throwback '90s alt-rock to the studio for a session in support of their first two EPs.
David will also chat with new trio GRRRL PRTY who recently released a hot summer jam called "Wegula." The act features Lizzo and Sophia Eris of The Chalice, as well as La Manchita.
And we're also featuring our new artist of the month with The Suburbs. Hear Mark Wheat's thoughts and get ready to embrace the legendary new-wavers throughout all of August.
And make sure to check out Chris Walla's thoughts below on how to properly make pasta.
