On this weekend's episode, David Campbell will check in with Twin Cities music scene mainstay Ed Ackerson who is 1/3rd of the band BNLX. We'll be talking about the new EP and anthology they are releasing, as well as their upcoming BNLX Fest at Cause Nov. 15th and 16th.


We'll talk with Jon Kirby from the Numero Group, a boutique reissue label, who will be releasing a new compilation called Purple Snow: Forecasting the Minneapolis Sound that chronicles the blossoming soul and R&B scene of the late '70s just before Prince's reign began.


And we'll debut a new segment on the show called the "7 at 7." Each week, the show will spin different local 7"s — sometimes old, sometimes new, usually borrowed, and occasionally blue.
