This week on The Local Show we were joined by Doomtree producer (and all around great guy) Lazerbeak. He stopped by to give you the inside scoop on the crew's amazing new retrospective photo book, Every Single Day, which they'll release on August 26th. Beak also let us know about all of the exciting things that are going down in the land of Doomtree in the next six months, including a Mike Mictlan release, a full crew record, Doomtree Blowout X, and the new Sims release Field Notes - from which we debuted a track.

We also caught up with reporters Andrea Swensson and Jay Gabler for the latest from the Local Current blog, including Jeremy Messersmith making it big time, The Local Show's upcoming Back to School episode, and a new video feature called Minnesota Music Sleuth.

Finally, The Local Show debuted new music from soul singer Pavielle, Chastity Brown, Eric Mayson, Coastal Cabins, Flora Cash, Phantom Tails, and the mighty Hammerhead.
