With the new Morrissey just out, it seems like a good week to highlight the songs of one Stephen Patrick, solo and with the Smiths, who recently reissued their 1986 classic The Queen is Dead, including demos and live tracks, which we'll feature. November's a perfect time to listen to the Smiths, the leaves are falling the skies are grey, our days are field with trenchcoats bad poetry and sadness -- at least that was how it was for a lot of us in high school at the time this was released.
