Mark Wheat is filling in for Jim McGuinn. Mark will feature a band that Jim saw in Austin, Texas, last week -- twice! The Wedding Present, started in the early 1980s by David Gedge when Mark and Gedge were both at LeedsUniversity. They'll be playing the Turf Club next Tuesday, and we'll also preview a couple of other shows coming to the Twin Cities, including the B-52sand Culture Club at the Minnesota State Fair.

We'll be serving birthday cake all round for Nick Lowe, Nena, and Elton John. And yes, we'll even feature some iconic voices ahead of our March Music Madness.
