This week its' Karl Wallenger's birthday - he was the second in command for a time in the Waterboys, before heading out on his own to form World Party. Here's some facts about Karl - he's Welsh, he's a left handed guitar player, he once played in a band with members of the Alarm, and was once a musical director for a stage production of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. He's got a lifelong obsession with the Beatles, and you can hear that power pop perfection in his music.
