Teenage Kicks®
Nirvana, 'Bleach'
June 15, 2019
Thirty years ago — June 15, 1989 — Nirvana released their debut album, Bleach. Recorded for the extravagant sum of $606.17, in time it would become the best-selling album in Sub Pop Records history. And though it was another year before they would meet Dave Grohl, leave Sup Pop and change music history with Nevermind, you can hear a bit of what was to come on Bleach: fuzzed out, discordant, teen angst, and one of the best rock and roll voices since John Lennon.
