Ten years ago when we were thinking of the show that became Teenage Kicks, we almost named it 'Black Coffee in Bed,' after the song by Squeeze. This week on Teenage Kicks, we will get Squeeze fans psyched up for Squeeze's upcoming show at the State Theatre in Minneapolis on September 3.

In the early '80s, co-lead singers and songwriters Glen Tilbrook and Chris Difford were called the next Lennon and McCartney. Their slice-of-life short stories set to incredibly melodic tunes have been loved by critics and fans alike since they emerged on the heels of the U.K. punk scene in the late '70s.
