The Waterboys
September 28, 2019
This week on Teenage Kicks we're featuring The Waterboys. Since their formation in the early '80s, Mike Scott has led The Waterboys — who along with bands like U2, Simple Minds, and Big Country, created what some termed "The Big Music," culminating in 1985's The Whole of the Moon. In the late '80s, Mike Scott shifted gears to embrace traditional folk, country, and Irish on Fisherman's Blues, maybe the best Americana album released by a Scotsman.
