In the past couple of years, we've experienced almost a fourth wave British Invasion happening here in the U.S., with fantastic indie bands like Idles, Shame and Sports Team hitting our shores. (Let's hope that trend continues in the New Year, btw.) This week's program, however, takes a look at the third wave British Invasion of the 1990s, a scene that definitely inspired many of today's acts. We're going to cover the bands that attacked the charts head on, as well as those that stayed well underground, because they were all part of the same scene that was 1990s Britpop — whether they liked it or not.
