Guest Host Sean McPherson shares some messages from Minnesota artists about Philando Castile. To millions around the globe Philando Castile's name is associated with his tragic killing at the hands of police in 2016. That same grief exists right here in Minnesota. Many artists have been involved in celebrating Philando's life and his spirit, particularly around the Central Honors Philando scholarship established at his alma mater, St. Paul Central. This year the concert honoring Philando is on Sunday and it's happening virtually. We will join in honoring his memory and his family on the Local Show.
