This week on Teenage Kicks, we celebrate one of our own with a birthday on Saturday: Dave Pirner of Soul Asylum.

From their punk start in the Minneapolis scene as Loud Fast Rules, through their grunge era success and the tabloid dating years, to a revitalized and continued career making new music to this day, the one constant in Soul Asylum has been Dave Pirner.  We’ll wish him a happy birthday with a feature this week on Teenage Kicks.
