The Time Machine heads to 1993 this time. There were debuts from artists like Radiohead and Liz Phair. Nirvana released what would be their final studio album. The band Mazzy Star released their iconic song, "Fade Into You." Alt-country pioneers Uncle Tupelo made their final album.

Meanwhile, Bill Clinton took office in January, becoming the country's 42nd president. 80.4 million people tuned into the series finale of the NBC television series Cheers; that's a lot. Michael Jordan the Chicago Bulls made it a three-peat; that seems like it was just yesterday. It's all 1993 on this episode of Time Machine Tuesday.
