In brighter news, The Freewheelin Bob Dylan was issued, the British invasion was just getting underway, and it was the year of Johnny Cash's signature tune “Ring of Fire.” The sound of young America was everywhere with big Motown hits from Marvin Gaye and others. Cleopatra starring Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton was tops at the box office. It's all 1963, our year on this episode of Time Machine Tuesday.
