The Time Machine takes a trip back 60 years to 1963. President John F. Kennedy was gunned down in Dallas; the world mourned. We also lost Patsy Cline in a plane crash. In brighter news, The Freewheelin Bob Dylan was issued, the British invasion was just getting underway, and it was the year of Johnny Cash's signature tune “Ring of Fire.” The sound of young America was everywhere with big Motown hits from Marvin Gaye and others. Cleopatra starring Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton was tops at the box office. It's all 1963, our year on this episode of Time Machine Tuesday.
