Next week, I am super psyched to bring two staple British bands to the First Avenue stage with sets: The Charlatans (U.K.) and Ride. That's why this week on the show, I plan to not only play a number of tracks by both of those influential groups, but many of their U.K. peers who kicked off their careers in the late 80s and early 90s as well. Think Stone Roses, Happy Mondays, My Bloody Valentine, Ned's Atomic Dustbin, Inspiral Carpets and many more with names as crazy cool as their sound. I invite you to join me for a night of U.K. greatness this week on the program.
