80s new wave ballads

"Save a Prayer" is the sixth single by the English new wave band Duran Duran, released on August 9, 1982. It was not originally issued as a single in the United States, although the music video was very popular on MTV. A special U.S. single version was finally released in January 1985, reaching number 16 on the Billboard Hot 100.
