Today is Record Store Day — the perfect excuse to indulge your love of music by celebrating and supporting independent records stores — and we are fortunate to have so many great ones here in Minnesota! Many Teenage Kicks-era artists have special releases out today — including my featured band this week — Violent Femmes, whose self-titled debut album (originally released April 13, 1983) is being reissued with a special limited edition 40th anniversary vinyl.
