The Time Machine makes a stop in 1985 this time. Prince made the most psychedelic album of his career. Aretha Franklin had her 20th No. 1 R&B hit. Til Tuesday dropped their debut. Both Hüsker Dü and the Replacements released excellent albums. The Chicago Bears recorded the Super Bowl Shuffle — and ultimately won the big game.

It was also the year that New Coke came and went, and Robert Zemeckis released Back To The Future — a film that features a time machine! It's all 1985, our year on this episode of Time Machine from The Current.
