The Time Machine takes a short trip back to 2010 this time, the year Mumford and Sons became rockstars. We first learned of Janelle Monáe. In our neck of the woods, Trampled by Turtles were riding high with their Palomino album, Dessa issued her ABadly Broken Code and Jeremy Messersmith released the Reluctant Graveyard effort. Meanwhile, American Idol was the top show on TV.
(L-R) Top 12 Contestants Tim Urban, Siobhan Magnus, Lee Dewyze, Paige Miles, Michael Lynche, Andrew Garcia, Didi Benami, Lacey Brown, Aaron Kelly, Crystal Bowersox, Casey James and Katie Stevens arrive at Fox's Meet the Top 12 "American Idol" finalists held at Industry on March 11, 2010, in Los Angeles.
