Bob Dylan released his first album, there were instrumentals from Booker T. and the M.G.’s who had their biggest hit, and Dick Dale unleashed 'Misirlou.' Meanwhile, Roy Orbison had a hit that was big all over the world and Patsy Cline ruled country radio. If you were dancing, you were probably doing the twist or perhaps the "Loco-Motion" with Little Eva.
