The Time Machine stops in 2005 this time, the year The Current hit the airwaves. The virtual band Gorillaz were big in Japan and bigger in the UK. Beck revisited his East LA youth on his Guero album. The White Stripes branched out musically on the album Get Behind Me Satan. Spoon and Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings both made stellar albums.

It’s all 2005 our year on this episode of Time Machine.
