The Time Machine stops in 1983 this time. David Bowie became a superstar with the release of his Let’s Dance recording. R.E.M. issued their debut album. Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard recorded an old Townes Van Zandt tune to huge success. The last batch of new Bob Marley songs was released a couple of years after his death. Also, both Madonna and Cyndi Lauper emerged! It's all 1983 our year on this episode of Time Machine.
