Last week on Transmission, Jake Rudh featured sunshine pop of the '60s, and this Thursday on the show, we're going to jump right into the '70s, '80s and '90s to carry on that pop theme, just add a little more power to it. That's right, it's all about power pop this week. Bands like Cheap Trick, Big Star, Material Issue, Fountains of Wayne, and The Cars. Think of jams that are three minutes or less and full of hooks, harmonies and melodies. You got a good feel for what's coming your way then.
