Arcade Fire's Reflektor is our CD of the Week and the lead single remains at the top. Others were probably scared to take it from them after seeing Win Butler of the band pull "a Kanye" at the YouTube Awards last weekend.

Bad news for Janelle she slipped a few spots and had to cancel a few shows because of vocal chord strain, so count yourself lucky if you saw her stop in Minneapolis. Check out her Twin Cities connection in our interview.

Big Minn. contingent does well again; Poliça will be our CD of the Week next week and play two shows at Mill City Nights at the end of the month.

Mason Jennings' album will be out Nov. 12, and we have him doing a live session with Jill Riley that morning, and I recorded a Theft of the Dial with him that we'll run Dec. 5, right before his two big shows in the First Avenue mainroom.

Good week too for the bands with ALL CAPS! CHVRCHES bounce back up to #2, NONONO are almost inducted to the Chart Show Hall of Fame and HAIM celebrate getting booked on Saturday Night Live on Nov. 23, jumping back up to #9!

Good to see old friends Dr. Dog and The Wombats back on as new entries, and Jake Bugg must qualify as one of the brightest new stars in our galaxy as the highest new entry. We lost Alt-J, Deltron after only a week and The National, who were inducted last week. Thanks for voting!
