MPR's Movie Maven and Cube Critic Stephanie Curtis joins Steve Seel and Jill Riley to talk about a new drama starring Tom Hardy.

The action centers on a man attempting to salvage his life during the course of one car ride. Locke is directed by Steven Knight.

Stephanie warns that the trailer, which makes this film look like a crime thriller, is deceiving. This film is not a crime thriller, but is instead more philosophical. "You leave thinking, 'What would I do?'," Stephanie says. "I totally loved it,"

Locke is rated R for language throughout, and is playing at the Landmark Uptown Theatre in Minneapolis.

MPR's Movie Maven, Stephanie Curtis, joins The Current's Morning Show to talk about films every Friday at 8:30 a.m.
