Delve deeper into the Minnesota music scene with Local Current's first-ever DJ in Residence! Every Friday of the month from noon until 6:00, the tables will turn and a local musician will take over the mic on our Local Current stream of Minnesota music.

In May, spend your Friday afternoons hanging out with local personality Martin Devaney. Martin's resume is impressive. In addition to a busy solo career as a singer-songwriter, he's led local rock band the Crossing Guards; worked with Minnesota mainstays such as Heiruspecs and Roma di Luna; and now he's busy collaborating in a new project, Gramofone. You may also have seen him behind the counter at St. Paul's Eclipse Records.

As Local Current's inaugural DJ in Residence, Martin will step into the studio to play his favorite local tracks and share stories about his experience in the Minnesota music community. Join him every Friday in May to explore music made, played, and enjoyed in your own neighborhood!
