A couple weeks ago, we did a Coffee Break that featured songs in which singers or bandleaders give an audible cue to an instrumentalist. Today, we're taking that idea a step further.

Inspired by a recent feature in the A.V. Club, it turns out there are a number of songs in which a singer shouts or sings the word, "Stop!" — and then the music actually comes to a momentary stop.

So for today's Coffee Break, what songs do you want to hear that feature a stop at "Stop!" Send us your requests.

Songs Played

Pixies "Where is my Mind"
Roy Orbison "Crying"
Garbage "Queer"
Jane's Addiction "Stop"
MC Hammer "U Can't Touch This"
Belle and Sebastian "Like Dylan in the Movies"
