For the second year in a row, we're using our Minnesota Public Radio User Accounts to power our Top 89 poll.

There are two reasons for doing this:

1. The ballot is on a secure server

2. Future applications, like song ratings, will use the same account information

We plan on rolling out more applications on the MPR user account in the near future. Some, like making requests via Amazon Echo using our Alexa Skill are already available.
