Coffee Break: spotlight on women musicians

In March, we’re celebrating Women’s History Month, a month dedicated to commemorating and encouraging the study, observance and celebration of the vital role of women in American history. And of course, that includes music. Along those lines, The Current has launched The Siren, a new 24/7 DJ-curated stream that honors and amplifies the sounds of women’s voices and music.
To this day, there are still some radio stations and formats where women artists are not played back to back. Women artists have always had a more comfortable home at The Current than elsewhere on the airwaves, and for today's Coffee Break, we'll celebrate women artists specifically — the legends as well as up-and-coming artists. So for today's 9:30 Coffee Break, what songs do you want to hear by women artists or by women-fronted bands?
