Coffee Break: songs about baseball

This week brings Opening Day for Major League Baseball, and the Minnesota Twins, after enduring a one-day weather delay, will open their season this afternoon at Target Field in Minneapolis, beginning a four-game series versus the Seattle Mariners.
Opening Day is a big deal — not only does it mark the start of the baseball season, but for a lot of people, it also marks the onset of spring and is a symbol of rebirth: It's a new season, and with it comes fresh hope.
Because baseball is such a vital part of our culture, it's no surprise baseball has worked its way into music, whether baseball references, names of ball players, baseball teams, expressions from the game and more. So for today's 9:30 Coffee Break, what songs about baseball or with a baseball vibe do you want to hear?
