This Friday to Sunday, Art-A-Whirl features the work of more than 1,000 artists at more than 60 venues across Northeast Minneapolis in what is the largest open studio tour in the country. After being canceled outright in 2020 and going virtual in 2021, Art-A-Whirl returns to an in-person experience this year.

Adjacent to Art-A-Whirl, numerous breweries, bars and restaurants in Northeast Minneapolis host live music, extending the celebration. The lineup of artists performing during Art-A-Whirl this weekend is impressive; it features not only many excellent local musicians but some national acts as well.
