It’s Bob Dylan’s birthday! The prolific singer-songwriter was born Robert Zimmerman on May 24, 1941, in Duluth, Minnesota.

Since releasing his debut self-titled album 60 years ago, Bob Dylan has made an indelible mark on songwriting and performing, not only in the folk genre but across many styles of music. He has also had a powerful influence in the way an artist can shape a persona. Dylan even inspired future music videos with his famous cue-card-dropping “Subterranean Homesick Blues” promotional film, released in 1965.

But it’s Bob Dylan’s deep song catalogue that has had the most profound influence on music, inspiring countless artists to perform their own versions of Dylan’s songs. So let’s celebrate that for Bob Dylan’s birthday. For today’s 9:30 Coffee Break, what Bob Dylan cover songs do you want to hear?
