Ever have days where you just can’t seem to get that song out of your head? The hook or the chorus gets caught in an infinite loop. Perhaps it’s a specific song, or style of song. Once it’s in your brain, you can’t escape it. This neurological phenomenon is called Involuntary Musical Imagery, or more commonly referred to as ear worms. An ear worm is a catchy or memorable piece of music or saying that continuously occupies a person’s mind even after it is no longer being played or spoken about.

Let’s call out the songs that live in our head rent free. For today’s 9:30 Coffee Break, what ear worm songs would you like to hear?
