It’s National Ice Cream Month, as established by President Ronald Reagan in 1984. This makes the news of the discontinuation of the Choco Taco that much more heartbreaking. Klondike confirmed the disappointing news on Monday. The nearly 40-year-old treat is being discontinued due to a spike in demand for other products in its portfolio. However, Klondike plans to find a way to keep ice cream trucks stocked with the beloved Choco Taco in future years. So, hope is not completely lost for fans of National Ice Cream Month.

Let’s pour one out for the Choco Taco and immortalize our love for the summer classic with music. For today’s 9:30 Coffee Break, what songs about ice cream do you want to hear?
