Coffee Break: Songs for inflation

The recent spike in inflation rates has been causing a lot of global distress. Increases in cost of living, energy, gas, food, and used cars are all contributing to the high rate of inflation. Big price increases are not exclusive to the U.S. According to a recent C.P.I. report, consumer prices in the U.S. increased 9.1 percent over the previous year; they increased 9.6 percent across the E.U. in the same time period. Many economists are hoping that the surge in prices will start to peak by the end of the year, reflecting the impact of central banks raising interest rates.
