Today is Gina Schock’s birthday! The drummer has played with The Go-Go’s since 1979 and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with the band just last year in October. Schock represents the powerful presence women have in the seemingly male dominated world of drumming. Throughout history, there have been many women who have made significant contribution to the field.

Let’s celebrate some true masters of the kit. For today’s 9:30 Coffee Break, what songs from bands with female drummers do you want to hear?
