Loretta Lynn, the Queen of country music, passed away peacefully at her home in Tennessee yesterday. She was 90 years old. The Kentucky-born coal miner’s daughter wrote songs that contrasted the stereotypical image of most female country singers. She fearlessly made music about the harsh realities of life and love as a woman in Appalachia.

The world lost a pillar of country music and a strong female artist whose powerful voice and songwriting made a lasting impact on the industry. Today we remember Loretta Lynn through her original music, collaborations, duets, and more. For today’s 9:30 Coffee Break, what songs do you want to hear to celebrate the life and legacy of Loretta Lynn?
