Today in 2016, Paisley Park opened to the public. For nearly 30 years, the facility served as Prince’s home, creative sanctuary and production complex. From Paisley Park Records, the label founded by Prince in 1985, came the song “Paisley Park” - a song imagining a place of love and peace, where there aren’t any rules or limitations for creativity. That dream was brought to life with Paisley Park Studios. Paisley Park Studios in one of many iconic recording studios associated with some of the world’s most famous musicians.

Some studios, like Abbey Road Studios, have significant history. Others, such as Electric Lady Studios, are best known as being founded by successful artists. The names of some recording studios are synonymous with the incredible albums that were recorded within their walls.
